On June 17, 2026, the McMaster MPP program celebrated its graduating cohort at a special reception in Hamilton. The event was the culmination of a year of of achievement for the 2025-26 class.
“This year’s cohort came from a diverse collection of backgrounds and experiences. Over the course of the year, they worked hard to acquire the hard and soft skills that will allow them to lead in an era of disruption and uncertainty,” said Graeme Stewart, Executive Director of the MPP. “We are so proud to add these stellar graduates to our growing network of alumni making an impact in government and beyond.”
The celebratory reception included awards to the winners of the 2026 Capstone Competition and an address from Class Valedictorian Jennifer Koorneef.
The 2026 cohort has already landed a variety of policy positions in all levels of government, the private sector, and in policy-focused NGOs. This year also marks the first gradauting cohort of our new Housing Policy Stream.
